What to expect in class
LMy classes are slow paced to create a moving meditation that helps encourage proper breathing, flexibility, strength, and vitality in the body while calming the mind.
A typical class includes pranayama (breathing exercises), warm-ups including adapted and accessible Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar), Asanas (postures) and deep relaxation.
When practiced regularly, the yoga postures, relaxation and breathing can help us to improve strength, balance, and flexibility as well as general health, well-being, and peace of mind.
When it comes right down to it, yoga is good for you!
